| Anyone know much about these? I know Eugene was involved with them before GB but is there any way to listen to their stuff? What's it like? I'd be really interested to get a few tracks. |

i heard that song get played once, when he DJed (I think) real drunken rowdy demo, really a lot younger sounding.
however like i think it only exists on demo, ask someone on the gogol yahoo chat forum, maybe they could email you a copy of it.
i dont know! |

I've uploaded the album No Fleas, Lunch Money and Gold Teeth and there are a couple of other random tracks as well. It's a .zip file and the tracks are in Real Audio format. Not ideal I know but given that you can only get this album second hand now, beggars can't be choosers right? The download is about 78MB and here's the link:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/a698c8/
If anyone has any big issues with downloading or the link expires PM me. |

| Thanks so much for that. I was worried they would be dissapointing but I love it, great stuff. Interesting to hear elements like the accordion sneaking in hinting at GB yet to come. |

I'll check my computer when I get home and if I still have it I'll post the link for you this evening. If it's not on my computer I can pull it from my iPod, but it'll take a bit longer. _________________ "I've swallowed the Little Book of Calm!" |

My internet connection was faulty when I tried to download it last time so my Uncle uploaded it here (my cousins website):
http://www.japf.com/davedot/NoFleas.zip
You'll have to tell me if it still works though, once you click on the link it should automatically start to download.
Hopefully that will save you some time Ruth, thanks for uploading that so many times! _________________ "I've swallowed the Little Book of Calm!" |

Eugene created that band The Fags in Burlington, Vermont, in the middle of 90-ths, as punk-rock band:Eugene - guitar, Dana Sheppard - drums, different base-guitar players. |

Thanks for linking us to that Brad, really interesting article, especially given that it's first hand knowledge. The mp3's are great and I love the youtube clip....doesn't Eugene look all fresh faced and shiny! |

I know this is a MAJOR bump, however I found this pic and couldn't resist. If it's been on before, sorry.
Euguene was so young and cute. Def the kind of guy I would have a thing for in high school many moons ago. I think he looks even younger than he was, don't you? I think this was around 1998.

I love this shit so much. Especially coming from a punk rock background and just having a generally love for Eugene. Also, anyone else notice "Jung and Crazee" is the precursor to the much slowed down "Nomadic Chronicle"? _________________ And a bottle will always be my cover.

Do you mean "Dead Space"?
I assumed it was just a silent track. Hmm. I could be wrong, though.
